Mark Oshima is Executive Vice President of Enterprise Health Solutions at Private Health Management. He has nearly 30 years of experience leading and working with organzations to grow, scale and optimize their performance. He possesses a unique combination of business strategy, P&L leadership, client management and human capital expertise that have made him a trusted advisor to C-Suite leaders from some of the world’s most sophisticated organizations.
Throughout his career, Mark has been a leading authority on a broad range of human capital issues. Prior to joining Private Health Management, Mark was Chief Partnerships Officer at Humu, the internet startup founded by Laszlo Bock, former SVP of People Operations at Google. Before Humu, Mark spent 27 years at Aon / Aon Hewitt where he held several global leadership positions and was a member of the Aon Hewitt Executive Committee. Mark’s other key leadership roles at Aon included Global Managing Partner, Aon Strategic Advisory (M&A and Change Management) Practice, Business Effectiveness Leader for Aon’s Healthcare Exchange Business and Senior Vice President of Business Integration—Office of the CEO.
Mark also served as Aon Hewitt’s Global Head of Talent and Lead HR Business Partner for Aon Hewitt’s Global Commercial function. He has both consulted to Human Resource leaders as well as led large HR organizations throughout his career.
Mark is a frequent speaker, having delivered speeches to the Conference Board, WorldatWork and other conferences. He periodically guest lectures at UCLA’s Executive Education Programs and has published numerous articles, including in Corporate Board Journal, HR Planning and HR Executive.
Mark has a MBA from UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Management and a BA in Economics from UC Irvine. He lives in Irvine, California with his wife and three sons.
