Leslie D. Michelson
Leslie has 30+ years of leadership and investment experience across healthcare, technology, and real estate. He was the CEO of the Prostate Cancer Foundation, led four healthcare companies focused on improving quality of care, and served as Special Assistant to the General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. He is on the Advisory Board of the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health and the Board of the ALS Therapy Development Institute. He is the author of the New York Times bestseller The Patient’s Playbook.

Renae is a seasoned financial and operational executive with 25+ years of broad-based business and leadership experience. She has a proven track record of driving shareholder value, managing complicated M&A transactions, and leading multi-disciplinary teams. As CFO for a multi-billion dollar US business, Renae consistently delivered strong financial performance amid challenging revenue environments. She led the firm’s growth and efficiency initiatives with a keen eye to managing and mitigating risk.
Robert R. Simon, MD
Dr. Simon is an expert in the diagnosis and management of complex medical cases including chronic pain and orthopedic issues, developed many of the surgical techniques being used today in emergency departments, and is the author of 6 emergency medicine textbooks. He is professor of Emergency Medicine at Rush University Medical Center and Executive Chair of Emergency Medicine for Cook County hospitals. Dr. Simon is also Founder and Chairman of International Medical Corps (IMC), a non-profit international relief organization.

Eva J. Gordon, PhD
Senior Vice-President, Research
Dr. Gordon has extensive experience as a medical researcher and science writer, with much of her career focusing on research in cancer and immunology. Prior to joining Private Health, Dr. Gordon served as Director of Clinical Research at the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation. She led the clinical research efforts in finding the cause of breast cancer, including a study exploring the role of viruses and bacteria in breast cancer. As a Damon Runyon-Walter Winchell postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Gordon studied how viruses evade detection from the immune system.

Carrie has 10+ years of combined advanced practice and nursing experience including internal medicine, general surgery, as well as general pulmonary and lung cancer diagnosis. She leads Private Health’s Personal Health Solutions business including the Intensive Case Management and Membership programs. She is licensed in New York, board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Jennifer Pena, RN,

Jennifer Pena has more than 17 years of nursing experience, including Medical-Surgical, Critical Care, Emergency Room, Occupational Health and Wellness, and Organ Transplant experience. Prior to joining Private Health, Jennifer worked as lead nurse practitioner at Keck Medical Center of the University of Southern California in the Abdominal Transplant Program, specializing in liver transplant and hepatocellular carcinoma. Her clinical responsibilities included complex medical management, coordination of multidisciplinary treatment and optimizing outcomes of pre-transplant patients.

Julia has 15+ years of leadership, brand management and client engagement experience across multiple industries on top-tier brands. She leads all efforts related to COVID-19 Testing Solutions, overseeing the creation, evolution and realization of testing strategies and implementation approaches, from corporate group testing events to our new RT-PCR self-swab sample collection service with 24 hour turnaround from lab receipt. Julia leads multiple COVID-19 accounts, harnessing cross-functional teams to solve clients’ pandemic-related challenges.
