Medical Records Coordinator

(Los Angeles)

Description

 

Private Health Management, a comprehensive healthcare navigation services firm, seeks a full-time Medical Records Coordinator to perform a variety of clinical administrative functions. The successful candidate will ideally possess experience in a medical/healthcare setting, experience with electronic medical record systems and excellent communication skills. This role regularly includes follow up via phone. The Medical Records Coordinator will work on site in our Los Angeles (Century City) office.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Adobe Reader) 

  • Highly proficient performing internet searches

  • Highly computer literate 

  • Experience with electronic medical record systems strongly preferred

  • High school diploma required

  • At least two years of successful professional experience 

  • At least one year of successful experience working in a healthcare or medical setting 

  • Familiarity with medical terminology required

 

The position is available immediately. The hours are 8 am - 5 pm, Monday-Friday in the office. There is no telecommuting. Extensive reference, criminal and other background checks will be performed.
