Julie Macdonald leads Marketing & Communication at Private Health Management. Ms. Macdonald has more than 30 years of experience counseling executive teams on strategic communication and change. She has earned a reputation for transforming how companies engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive action by leading global marketing, communication, culture and change management teams and initiatives, especially during periods of integration and accelerated growth.
At Aon, Ms. Macdonald was SVP of Marketing & Communications and a chief architect of the “Aon United” culture change program. In her previous position as SVP of Strategic Communication and Chief of Staff for Aon Hewitt, she managed the Office of the CEO establishing effective governance across Aon Hewitt and led strategic change initiatives to support business growth and stability. Ms. Macdonald played a lead role in the business and cultural integration of Aon and Hewitt Associates, developing Aon Hewitt’s vision and strategy and creating a platform to align and engage colleagues around the world to deliver on that promise. She led integrated stakeholder messaging for Aon’s market changing Health Exchange Solutions.
Prior to joining Aon, Ms. Macdonald was the Vice President of Corporate Relations for Hewitt Associates leading marketing, public relations, internal communication, and community relations. She previously led the Change Management practice for Exult, the first global HR BPO firm, helping clients to navigate the unique challenges of moving to an outsourced delivery model for HR services. Her clients included BP, Bank of America, Prudential, and International Paper. Ms. Macdonald gained broad outsourcing experience as a Senior HR Director and Client Transition Leader at MCI Systemhouse and was a senior manager in Accenture’s change management practice.
Ms. Macdonald's other passion is serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate supporting children in the foster care system. She was named CASA Volunteer of The Year for Los Angeles County in 2020.
Ms. Macdonald holds degrees in Economics and Business Management from the University of Redlands and completed Aon’s Pinnacle Executive Leadership program at the University of Chicago.
