COVID-19 Research Associate

Description

 COVID-19 Research Associate needed at a progressive, comprehensive health care advisory company providing organizations with timely, evidence-based guidance on COVID-19 risk reduction and prevention. 

 The Research Associate will be responsible for investigating topics related to COVID-19 risk reduction, prevention, and treatment, and assisting in developing and streamlining processes for our COVID-19 advisory engagements. The Associate will work closely with the Research, Clinical, and Enterprise Solutions Teams to develop content, guidance, and workflows surrounding COVID-19 return to work policies across a variety of industries. This is a contract-based, remote position. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Research the most current evidence and technology on topics related to COVID-19 risk reduction and prevention, including but not limited to: personal protective equipment, symptom screening, viral transmission, testing, quarantining, contact tracing, cleaning and disinfecting procedures, and vaccine development 

  • Develop highly structured, content rich, evidence-based documents on the above topics 

  • Develop and refine risk reduction processes and workflows tailored for individual clients and industries 

  • Present research findings in a clear, concise manner both internally and to clients, including high level executives 

  • Work across multiple departments to create integrated deliverables as needed 

  • Complete special projects as assigned 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors (B.A., B.S.) or Masters level (MPH or M.S.) degree in a health-related discipline, or equivalent qualifications and experience 

  • At least two years of healthcare, research, and/or consulting experience 

  • Focus/interest in infectious disease preferred 

  • Exceptional research skills 

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment 

  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team 

  • Excellent writing, verbal, and interpersonal skills 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) 

  • Highly computer literate 

  • Must be willing and able to work remotely
