Carrie Davis, FNP, is Vice President, Personal Health Solutions at Private Health Management. Ms. Davis is a Family Nurse Practitioner in Family Health and has more than 15 years of combined advanced practice and nursing experience including internal medicine, general surgery, as well as general pulmonary and lung cancer diagnosis. She provides clinical leadership and leads business development for the Membership and Intensive Case Management programs at Private Health.
Prior to joining Private Health, Ms. Davis served as Nurse Practitioner for Interventional Pulmonary and Bronchoscopy at Beth Israel Medical Center (BIMC). Her clinical responsibilities included managing patients with conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) as well as patients requiring specialized pulmonary procedures such as minimally invasive lung biopsies. Ms. Davis designed and implemented a continuous quality assurance program that improved the standard of care for pulmonary patients. She also served as Clinical Manager of the Bronchial Thermoplasty program at BIMC.
Before joining BIMC, Ms. Davis served as Nurse Practitioner at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, where she worked as a charge nurse on a general medical/surgical floor. She began her career as an NP in the pre-surgical testing department at Methodist Hospital.
Ms. Davis graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing from SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where she also received her baccalaureate degree. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Maryland at College Park.
