Gregg Britt has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the health care, health research, and drug development industries.
Mr. Britt is founder, president and CEO of Innovis, LLC, a leading provider of strategic consulting and product development services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies in addition to research institutes, large health systems, and medical groups. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of Biopharmaceutical Research and Development for the Prostate Cancer Foundation, the world’s largest source of philanthropic support for prostate cancer research, where he provided guidance to the biopharmaceutical industry in the clinical development of promising prostate cancer therapeutics. His efforts resulted in a significant increase in investment by the biopharmaceutical industry for the clinical development of prostate cancer therapeutics and the advancement of multiple prostate cancer therapeutics into late-stage clinical trials.
Before joining the Prostate Cancer Foundation, Mr. Britt served as Senior Vice President / Chief Operating Officer for Protocare Inc., the second largest provider of clinical trials site services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industry in the world. While at Protocare, Mr. Britt was involved in the acquisition, integration and management of many of the largest clinical research centers in the U.S. He has overseen the initiation and completion of over 2000 clinical trials in virtually every major therapeutic area.
Prior to joining Protocare, Mr. Britt served as CEO of AIDS Research Alliance of America, a leading organization in the identification, funding and development of more effective HIV / AIDS therapeutics. He started his career in health care establishing large health education and health care services programs in LA County. He was appointed by the LA County Board of Supervisors to serve as one of the founding members of the LA County HIV Health Services Council, which allocates more than $50 million in federal HIV health services funds annually, and served as the Chairman of its program committee for two years. He has also served as Chairman of Medical Research Agencies of America, raising significant funding for major disease medical research.
Mr. Britt graduated cum laude with his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Northridge. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and step-son.
